June 22, 2006 You know I spent quite a bit of time putting this video together and it wasn't all just me. I had my great friend Jim, help me with the script and he came up with the Pleasantville concept - my homage to him was the "Plethora" scene in Three Amigos movie clip at the end of my video...didn't see it? Go back. I also had my 16 year old nephew, Joel help me with the special effects - it amazed me how this FX stuff just comes easy to him. And last but not least...Matthew...the video editing god. Most of the video and pictures were done by me with the help of my wife Liz who has always looked over my shoulder and given me very good constructive criticism...at least that's what she called it. :-) She art directed me (posed me) and took many of the pictures to make sure I fit into the pictures I was going to edit. I couldn't have done it without her and my family...thier patience in this endeavor was greatly appreciated. You caught brief glimpses of images of me in the video and I spent some time doing PhotoShop work on the images. I thought I would be cool to show you these fleeting images in color because I had to just convert them all to B/W for the noir look. Thanks for letting me share... G-man |

Created the logo and found a a great picture of a couple ballroom dancing. I "erased" the dude and with the help of my wife - she posed me and took the picture so I could "Dance in Hawaiian Shirts!" | Found a picture of the Hawaii 5-0 wave and Jack Lord. Like the hair? It's his too. | I was going to do another "idea" in my video doing a roller skating thing with disco music but the video was running too long so I cut it. |

I like this image. I got my wife to climb up on a ladder and take several pictures of me. I then took out the background and colored my shirt then created pen light saber. I then added the spotlight effect. | Here is a shot of the program I used to "mask" out my shirt so it would stay in color while the rest was in B/W. It took me about 2.5 hours just to get through 15 seconds. Yes...I've learned my lesson. |
